The first thing she did when her husband got home was to throw a hysterical
fit, and when she came to herself, she said in a hard-edged voice: "For the last time, I'm asking you to get rid of that halo. You
can do it. And you know very well that you can do it." He hung his head, not daring to ask how she thought he ought to proceed,
