The Ration Ticket

13 March. -- Had lunch this noon with the Dumonts. As usual, they quarreled and even insulted each other. With a note of sincerity he couldn’t hide, Dumont yelled: "At least if I could use my life tickets during the second half of the month, I’d never have to live at the same time as you!" Madame Dumont burst into tears.
